12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE!!!
This will be a board wide challenge and everyone is invited to take part.
Here's how it will work. Everyday from 12/13-12/24 new challenges will be posted. On the first day there will be one task, on the second day two tasks, on the sixth day six tasks and so on. For each completed task you will receive a point. For all the days combined there is a total of 78 points up for grabs. After all 12 days are complete we will add up each person's points and the top 3 people will each receive a wonderful gift. There will also be a wild card drawing. All participating board members are eligible to win a prize except for Admin.
For all participants that obtain at least 35 points but do not make it to the top 3, their name will be put in a hat and one wild card winner will be crowned. They will also receive a wonderful gift.
To participate in the challenge all you have to do is complete the task and post in the official thread what you have completed. You do not have to complete all tasks or even participate every day to earn points. Of course doing so will give you the best chance to win Admin is able to track all tasks and make sure they are completed so please play fair and honestly. Any cheating will result in an automatic disqualification from the challenge.
The tasks themselves will range from easy to hard and will take place all over the board. Some ideas for tasks will be: posting 2 recipes, voting 3 times in a day, posting a new poll, sending 5 people gifts, giving away reps, posting on specific boards, referrals etc. Really the ideas are endless!
Besides completing the tasks the only thing you will have to do to earn your points is post about your completed tasks in the designated thread before the thread is closed. So if, for example, you have to send 5 people a gift you would post the names of the 5 people you sent them too. If you were suppose to start 3 new threads you would post the links to those 3 threads.
New challenge threads will be posted each day at 6am PST (9am EST). You will have 24 hours to complete all the tasks and post your completition posts in the thread. The next morning @ 6am PST (9am EST) the previous days challenge tasks will be closed and the new tasks will be posted.
Prizes will be announced tomorrow morning as I am sure you all would like to know what you are playing for.
